Dr. R. Geoffrey Broderick

Founder of Cornucopia Organic Pet Foods and the creator of Super-Food and Phyto-Food for pets, Doc devoted over 50 years as a practicing veterinarian in Huntington, New York.

Your pet comes first. That was his belief system.

For over fifty years, Dr. Broderick practiced veterinary medicine in Huntington, New York — not just treating animals, but transforming how we think about feeding them. He was among the first to challenge the commercial pet food industry and champion the idea that pets deserve the same quality of nutrition as people.

Doc declared the start of the natural pet food movement at the Health & Nutrition Expo at Madison Square Garden in the early 1970s. He never looked back.

His groundbreaking research on treating cystitis in cats with vitamin C earned awards from the Committee for World Health and the California Orthomolecular Medical Society. His work also helped pave the way for the use of cranberry juice to treat urinary tract infections in humans.
